The construction industry has a large volume of projects, a large number of construction workers, a complex working environment, and prominent engineering technology and quality risks. Thus, it has long been confronted with severe challenges in safety management.

Corerain provides an integrated smart construction site AI video analysis solution for this Engineering Company Limited in Hong Kong. Together, we build a Smart Site Safety System(4S) for more than ten construction sites in Hong Kong.

For example, in the Lamma Power Station project, the system is connected to 16 cameras on site. According to management needs, AI algorithms such as intrusion detection into dangerous areas, smoking detection, helmet detection, reflective vest detection, smoke and flame detection, and personnel absence detection are applied. Corerain provides remote technical services for the project and completes the deployment of the entire platform in just one day.

Results

This project employs Corerain's AI video analytics with an algorithm accuracy of up to 95%. It monitors the construction site in real time, enabling timely detection and handling of workers' violations and abnormal situations, thus preventing serious safety accidents and reducing project losses caused by such incidents.

Through this system, project managers can receive real-time remote alarm notifications of on-site violations and dangerous conditions, perfect the safety management closed loop, and significantly enhance safety management efficiency.
